Christmas party menu below for your consideration which, as a local interest group, you'll get a 15% food discount on if you book a table with us this festive period.

This offer, alongside our continuing 15% food discount on the standard menu, is open to all your staff, members, and their families as long as one member of the group shows proof of being affiliated to the Egham Bowls Club when you/they come for a meal.

Hopefully we'll have the pleasure of welcoming you for a meal at some point in the near future.

STARTERS

 

Homemade ‘Winter Warmer’ soup

Freshly made daily with sweet potatoes and butternut squash, and served with lemon & garlic toast

Portobello mushrooms

 

Stuffed with bacon, cream cheese, and spring onions; and topped with crispy breadcrumbs and watercress

 

 Prawn cocktail

 

Flavoursome Greenland prawns served with Marie Rose sauce, paprika, crisp salad, lemon, and buttered granary bread

 

Scottish smoked salmon, avocado, and mozzarella toast

Served with lemon, and topped with a pesto dressing

 

 Farmhouse pate

 

Rich pate served with ciabatta toast, crisp salad, and caramelised red onion chutney

 

 

 

MAIN DISHES

 

Roast turkey

 

Served with bacon wrapped chipolata sausages, sage & onion stuffing, roasted potatoes, carrots, and parsnips, swede mash, red cabbage, fine green beans, sprouts and gravy

 

Beef fillet  

 

Slow-cooked, and served with Dauphinoise potatoes, red cabbage, and fine green beans, in a red wine sauce

 

Baked salmon fillet  

 

Topped with a herb crust, and served with Hasselback potatoes and asparagus, in a tarragon sauce

 

 Homemade vegetarian Christmas pie  

 

Containing potatoes, leeks, mushrooms, chestnuts, and cranberries; and served with roasted carrots and parsnips, swede mash, red cabbage, fine green beans, sprouts and gravy

 

Homemade vegetable Wellington  

 

In puff pastry, and served with roasted potatoes, carrots, and parsnips, red cabbage, fine green beans, sprouts and gravy
